Hello everyone I'm back... I haven't posted for a while as was busy as bee! So moving back to my crochet tutorials, I've got you a simple tutorial which will help you to make a single crochet stitch. Firstly you need to know how to make the slip knot, chain stitch then move to the following step:
- Create a slip knot and slide it onto your hook. If you don't know how to create it, check my previous posts and you may find an individual tutorial.
- Make 11 chain stitches. If you don't know how to chain stitch, have a look on my previous posts and you will find a simple tutorial.
- Skip the first chain from the hook, insert your hook into the second chain from the hook. Yarn either from the back of the hook.
- Draw yarn through the second chain of the hook and place it on the working area of the hook.
- Yarn either the hook from back to front and pull through the two loops on the hook.
- Make sure after doing step-5, that only one loop remains on the hook. Then repeat the steps until you make a single crochet stitch in each of the 10 stitches.
- Now chain 1. Yarn either the hook from back to front and pull through the loop.
